Guidelines for a Enjoyable Stay at Lower Lacon Caravan Park
Dear Valued Guests,
Welcome to Lower Lacon Caravan Park! To ensure a pleasant and safe stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with the following guidelines:
Booking & Arrival
All visitors, including day visitors, are required to book in and pay (if applicable) at the reception/shop upon arrival.
The designated party leader (the person the booking is made under) is responsible for their party and visitors, including any associated costs.
Respecting Quiet Hours
Please keep noise levels, including pets, at a reasonable level at all times, especially after 11pm.
Considerate use of mowers, strimmers, and generators is appreciated, avoiding operation between 8pm and 8am wherever possible.
Child Safety
After 10pm, children under 18 are not permitted unaccompanied anywhere on the park.
This includes J.A.K.K.S. Barn; children must be supervised by their parents or legal guardians.
Children under 18 should not be left unattended. Parents or guardians are responsible for their children's actions and safety at all times.
Safety First
No drink driving is allowed on the park, and the speed limit is 5 mph.
Learner drivers and motorised scooters are prohibited.
Strictly no dangerous items, including guns, knives, and fireworks, are allowed. Any offensive items will be confiscated.
Community Spirit
No single-sex groups are accommodated. Special circumstances may be considered.
Groups under 21 are generally not accommodated, with exceptions for special circumstances.
Commercial activities on the park require permission, and a 10% commission is due. Unauthorised activities will result in the confiscation of stock.
Vehicle Policy / Car & Caravan Care
We kindly request that no commercial vehicles enter the park. Exceptions apply for full-glassed and half-glassed vehicles with four or more seats.
Washing of cars and caravans on the park is strictly prohibited (excluding Seasons and Holiday Home Owners).
Unmetered pitches are not for vehicle charging. Unauthorised use incurs a £3 per hour charge.
Recreation Rules
No ball games between units or on roads, please respect other patrons of the caravan park and use designated areas provided.
Cyclists must stay on roads or designated paths at all times, and we request that cyclists use cycle lights at night to avoid accidents.
Skateboards and paddling pools are not allowed for safety reasons.
Wet swimmers are kindly requested not to enter the bars or shop due to slipping hazards - please dry off and wear clothing and footwear before entering.
For safety, please use designated roads and consider a torch after dark.
Pet Etiquette
Pets are welcome but must be supervised and kept on a lead of reasonable length.
Please do not leave your dog unattended in any situation or for any period likely to cause distress (Animal Welfare Act 2006) - failure to comply to these rules may result in being asked to leave as the welfare of animals is a top priority.
Group Bookings
Groups of 5 units or more require a designated leader to vouch for the group.
An additional deposit of £50 provides a 5% discount and must be arranged in advance.
Pool Safety
The swimming pool has no lifeguard. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the pool area.
Non-swimmers are not allowed past the black line in the swimming pool (shallow to deep end). Any misconduct may result in being asked to leave.

Barriers & Access
Please do not misuse barriers; they are for the security of all guests and staff.
If you have a problem with the barriers, please contact reception or the warden on call and they will be more than happy to assist you.
Environmental Responsibility
Please use provided waste points for appropriate waste disposal.
Standpipes are for drinking water only.
Outdoor sinks are provided for washing pots and pans.
Chinese fire lanterns are not permitted on the park at any time.
Burning rubbish or wood from our woods is not permitted.
Alcohol Purchase
We implement the Challenge 25 policy for the sale of alcohol at all of our venues (Shop, Club & J.A.K.K.S. Barn).
Please carry acceptable ID (such as photographic driving licence or a passport) if you're over 18 but look under 25 whenever you plan to purchase alcohol or/or tobacco products.
Please note that we do not accept PASS cards due to the prevalence of counterfeit versions.
It is against the law to purchase alcohol for individuals under 18 within a licensed premises.
