New Year's Eve Party!
Step into the enchanting atmosphere of our New Year's Eve Party at Lower Lacon Caravan Park! Indulge in a sumptuous hot meal and cold buffet, perfectly paired with festive cheer. As the night unfolds, prepare to be entertained by the sensational Live Artist Tina Time in J.A.K.K.S. Barn.

After September, ticket prices will adjust to our normal prices:

Please note that access to the caravan park and holiday homes is exclusive to customers with tickets to the New Year's party, and these dates cannot be booked online.
In ensuring your enjoyment, kindly inform our staff of any dietary requirements or allergens at the time of booking and on the night. While we strive to accommodate your needs, certain requirements may incur a supplement. Please be aware that although we take precautions to minimise contamination risks, we cannot guarantee dishes will be 100% allergen-free due to kitchen ingredients.

Children's Christmas Party!
Step into the enchanting spirit of Christmas at our Children's Christmas Party! Delight in a festive family-friendly disco in J.A.K.K.S. Barn, where twinkling lights and merry tunes set the scene. Meet a very special guest who will bring joy and laughter to all! Tickets, priced at £4 per child (including a gift from our special guest), must be booked in advance to ensure every child's Christmas wish comes true!
Indulge in delicious bar meals served during this magical function, all proceeds in aid of the wonderful charity, Children in Need.
Please note that The Windmill Club will be closed at night for this enchanting event!
Bonfire Night
The bonfire will be lit at 6:30 pm, followed by our legendary fireworks display starting at 7 pm. After the fireworks, stick around for live entertainment by David Essex Tribute at 8.30pm in J.A.K.K.S. Barn. Don't forget to visit our pop-up food stall for tasty treats from the beginning of the evening through to the end of the firework display in the spectators field.
Personal fireworks are not allowed on-site.

Bonfire Weekend
Join us at Lower Lacon Caravan Park for a blazing Bonfire Weekend! Enjoy great drinks, delicious food, and fantastic company. On Friday night, kick off the festivities with our family-friendly disco at J.A.K.K.S. Barn, where you can boogie the night away. Then, on Saturday night, join us to celebrate Bonfire Night!
The bonfire will be lit at 6:30 pm, followed by our legendary fireworks display starting at 7 pm. After the fireworks, stick around for live entertainment by David Essex Tribute at 8.30pm in J.A.K.K.S. Barn. Don't forget to visit our pop-up food stall for tasty treats from the beginning of the evening through to the end of the firework display in the spectators field.

Halloween Weekend
Join us for a spook-tacular weekend at Lower Lacon Caravan Park, where the fun is sure to be fang-tastic! Get into the spirit on Friday with our Family Disco, then don your best costumes for a howl-arious night of fancy dress and frights. On Saturday, prepare to be bewitched by the magical performance of ***Live Artist TBC***. It's going to be a boo-tiful weekend full of tricks, treats, and Halloween delights!

Finishing off our Drink Up Beer Festival, Live Artist Rowan Lawson will be singing up a storm in JAKKS Barn from 9pm with a DISCO beforehand.

Autumn Half Term Holiday
Celebrate the start of the school holidays from October 24th to November 2nd with nightly Discos, where you can also enjoy fun activities and fancy dress for Halloween festivities! Delight in live artists every Saturday at 9 pm (as listed), along with kids' entertainment on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On other nights, groove to the background disco at J.A.K.K.S. Barn. Join us for a week packed with fun and entertainment!
Oh, and don't forget! Our Bonfire Night with our legendary firework display will be on the following weekend (8th November)!

After watching the Carnival in Wem and spending the day on the fun fair, come back to JAKKS barn for our Live Jon Bon Jovi Tribute night from 9pm. Fancy getting a bite to eat before hand? Then JAKKS Cafe is open or if you prefer you can order yourself a sneaky Bar Meal in JAKKS barn
Wem Carnival (Day & Night Processions)
Wem Carnival's daytime procession starts at 1:30 pm, followed by the beautifully illuminated nighttime procession at 7:45 pm. Roads close 30 minutes before each procession and remain closed throughout. Between parades, visitors can enjoy pop-up stalls at the gala field or have fun at the fair on Wem Recreation Ground.

Wem Carnival Weekend!
Experience the rich history of Wem Carnival, dating back to its inception in 1911 to commemorate the Coronation of King George V. The inaugural procession featured the Wem TT Band, local Scout troupe, and various community groups in elaborate costumes. Over the years, interest in the Carnival has fluctuated, but it was revived successfully in 1978. Today, the Carnival continues annually, maintaining the original format established in 1911. Join us as we celebrate tradition and community spirit!
Each year, on the first Saturday of September, our charming town of Wem hosts a vibrant carnival, where the entire community, along with local businesses, collaborates to craft stunning floats for the parade. From creatively decorated floats to those featuring talented artists or raising funds for charity, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Additionally, a lively fun fair adds to the excitement, offering a chance to unleash your adventurous side .
With both afternoon and evening parades adorned with dazzling lights, the festivities continue throughout the day. Explore numerous stalls at the gala field, savour delicious food, engage in activities for children, and discover much more! Join us for an unforgettable celebration of community spirit and fun-filled festivities.
Take a leisurely stroll just 15-20 minutes along Soulton Road towards our charming market town of Wem, and join in the fun of the Carnival! You can be part of the excitement too!

Kids can have a blast with penny pushers, mini air hockey, and foosball, while adults can try their hand at gamblers, pool, and full-size air hockey. Later, from 9pm groove to the incredible beats performed by the fantastic and talented "Darla Jade"! Guaranteeing a performance to get you out of your seats!
